Luke, Brooke, and I planned to hike up Mt. Whitney with Bob Huey and a few others. This sounded like it would be a really fun trip. Unfortunately, I got sick just before the trip with strep throat and the flu, and couldn't make it. I was really dissapointed. So, I got to spend the weekend holding down the couch while Brooke and Luke got to go play in the snow... Yep, that's me on the couch feeling sick. As you can see, I got so bored watching tv all day, I started playing around with the digital camera so I'd have at least one picture for this page... And to make matters worse, all my gear for the weekend (except for what Brooke and Luke had scavanged from my pack) was laying on the floor taunting me.
